Bob Frye taught History and Special Education for 33 years in Holyoke, MA before retiring last year. Staring in 1987 for eight years in NEARI, an alternative Special Education School, then ten years in Magnet Middle School for the Arts and Peck Middle School and finishing his career in Holyoke High School. He is a National Geographic certified teacher, a TOP, TEA, TAH Fellow, and a three time Fulbright Grantee. His interest in technology applications began before the widespread use of the internet with an Apple II computer. He was in one of the first cohorts of Intel Teach to the Future scholars and continued the study and practical pedagogy of integrating technology in his classroom throughout his career. Bob holds a BA in History and Journalism, an MA in History and an M.Ed. in moderate Special Needs from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
